Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and send your item to: The Diamond Experience, 2927 S 108th St, Omaha, NE 68144, United States.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
LIMITED DIAMOND WARRANTY
*Most diamonds are of Red Box grading, but each customer can specifically request a Reb Box branded diamond to ensure this coverage.
All Red Box graded diamonds come with 1-year of complimentary insurance provided by The Diamond Experience through GemShield®. Each diamond with a diamond certificate is eligible for this free limited coverage with the appropriate registration through GemShield® the registration information is provided with the diamond certificate and can be completed at home or with the Diamond Experience staff. To obtain coverage, the activation form must be submitted and received within 90 days of the date end consumer takes possession of the stone. Coverage cannot be activated beyond this 90-day period. No coverage is provided until the receipt of this form by fax, email, or postmark date, if mailed, except high valued items*. You will receive a certificate confirming your coverage within 2-3 weeks after your activation. Coverage begins the date the activation form is received and terminates one year after the purchase date.
*High-valued items require completion of supplemental application and underwriter approval prior to activation of coverage.
Here’s how it works:
If you are to lose your diamond within the first year, simply come back to the diamond experience showroom for replacement we will replace the diamond for you at no cost bearing all required information is provided.

Here at The Diamond Experience, we understand that each piece that is created for you is done so with the respect of the memories passed down from heirloom pieces or the desire to create new memories with a custom creation for that special someone. To help ensure your pieces are around for all the memories to come we offer our Bling Protection.
How To Obtain Bling Protection
During your consultations of redesigning your heirloom pieces or any new custom creation you will have the option of purchasing our Bling Protection. Should you choose to proceed with the protection plan, the cost will be added into your final total of your project.
How To Maintain Bling Protection
When you obtain Bling Protection, you will be given an inspection card that is to be brought in every six (6) months with the piece that it was designated for. At that time, you will receive a FREE cleaning and inspection of jewelry and any recommended repair work will be documented.
If you do not follow up every six (6) months and/or the recommended repairs are not performed, the Bling Protection will be voided for those repairs. (for that piece of jewelry)
All check-ups and Covered Repairs and Services are a part of the purchase price of the Bling Protection.
The Bling Protection has a duration of three (3) years, at which time, you will have the option to renew the protection for an additional three (3) years. You will have the ability to renew the protection at the end of every three (3) years going forward for the life of the piece of jewelry it was purchased for. If the original piece of jewelry is redesigned during a protection period, it may be necessary to review the Bling Protection to ensure it covers the redesigned piece appropriately.
If you are to exhaust the value of our Bling Protection prior to the end of your three (3) year protection period, any repairs would then become the customer’s cost. Once the protection period has reached its three (3) year term, the customer would be able to purchase a new Bling Protection once all recommended repairs, not previously covered, have been made.

What is not covered
- Jewelry that is not brought in for regular six (6) month cleaning or that has been damaged as a result of excessive or abusive treatment
- Jewelry that has been repaired by a store or jewelry other than the approved jewelers as determined by The Diamond Experience
- Loss or theft of the covered piece or damaged that which resulted during loss or theft if recovered
- Covered pieces that have not had recommended repairs completed
- Damage sustained due to Acts of God
